Comment Spam Manifesto

Adam Kalsey is drawing a line in the sand and declaring war on comment spammers. He has put up a Comment Spam Manifesto, to spread the word in the blog community and to put spammers on notice. Read it. ... [The Tweezer's Edge 2]

Spam ruins the commons. One is too many on an education site. I am glad I can get to it fairly quickly when I have access. I worry what may happen if I cannot get to my site and handle it right away. IMHO, most bloggers feel the comments and trackback is an easier way to share or respond than joining a site. You have seen the faces when you tell folks they need to register for another site. I would like to keep that space open for folks to respond to anything on the blogs I admin.
